It's been very entertaining, especially his ten questions for Finnigan and Stone . And he got two answered. My favorite is definitely Is this the worst bench in major league history? If Edgar gets injured, what abysmal hitter will replace him at DH? And seriously, will any Mariners bench players get a pinch hit all year? â Jeff, Bellingham B. F.: No question, the bench is thin at this point. But the bench was supposed to be one of the strengths last year, and barely came into play. The most likely DH if Edgar gets hurt would be outfielder Quinton McCracken. Another option is use Scott Spiezio at DH, and have Willie Bloomquist play third base.

Pujols Vs. Bonds [Archive] - NYYFans.com Forum lopez_javy 68.4 Boone_Bret 64.1 hmm bonds has highest vorp rating in the majors lets see how he does compared to his team supposedly his supporting cast http://forums.nyyfans.com/archive/index.php/t-48692.html
Extractions: NYYFans.com Forum General Baseball Forums Around The Majors PDA View Full Version : Pujols vs. Bonds Rocketman 09-11-03, 03:49 PM Bonds is the best player in the NL, but Pujols may be overtaking him in the MVP race right now. Despite having a much higher OPS, Bonds doesn't have NEARLY the counting numbers that Pujols does. Yesterday he hit his 40th and 41st HRs of the year... a tremendous achievement. That moves him into first place for home runs, and he's first in batting average. Pujols is also second in RBI, eight behind Colorado slugger Preston Wilson. I can't imagine how he won't win the NL MVP award, even in St. Louis doesn't make the playoffs. Bonds is the best player in the NL, but Pujols may be overtaking him in the MVP race right now.
