It's just a courtesy vote from a writer that covered one of their teams. Happens all the time. 01-08-2008, 11:55 AM It's just a courtesy vote from a writer that covered one of their teams. Happens all the time.
Oh I know, there's 3-4 people every year that get 1-2 votes from the local writers, but I'd love to hear one of these guys defend their vote. Captain 01-08-2008, 12:05 PM http://board.spawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=432460

I agree with you about some of the "1 vote" guys, but like others have said it may be more of a courtesy vote for some personal/professional reason by a specific writer who knew that player would not be on the ballot again. Chevy Man 22 01-08-2008, 12:10 PM
