I guess you are very selfish or stupid or both. You are very lucky to get a good treatment in the US where the doctors treat you like customer and not as a patient. Last January in NY I had to see a doctor for a throat infection, I stayed in his office less than 1 minute, 2 weeks later I had to go back for a bronchite. In the US, even if you have access to the system, they just treat you like cattle. Doctors are business men.... Another good exemple, a friend of mine in Orlando Florida had a quist on an ovaire, the doctor told her that she could never have children again: 3 months later she was pregnant. Are you sure that in Italy you did not get brain surgery ?

This is the first time I have heard of a Hall of Famer come out and publicly say something against Pete Rose getting into the Hall of Fame. (I just thought this was interesting.)

I have made my feelings known here and elswhere, I do not think Pete Should be reinstated, whether or not he ever admits to betting on baseball. The damage is done, and he has to pay the piper. I agree with Mr. Kiner, we have become too forgiving as a society.

Willie Mays (born May 6 ) is a retired baseball star. Mays played centerfield throughout his career, save for a few games at first base near the end of his career. Mays is admired both for his fielding and his batting skills; he is among the few players to have hit more than 50 home runs in each of two or more seasons. He was elected to the United States Baseball Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility, in 1979. Mays finished with a batting average of .302, with 660 home runs and 1902 runs batted in. He began his professional career with the Birmingham Black Barons of the Negro National League in 1947. The New York Giants , who had purchased his contract in 1950, called him up to the major leagues in 1951, upon which he won the Rookie of the Year Award. He then served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War , missing part of the 1952 season and all of the 1953 season. He returned to the Giants in 1954, winning the National League Most Valuable Player Award and leading them to a World Series victory, a four-game sweep of the Cleveland Indians . Mays is remembered for making one of the greatest defensive plays of all time in Game 1 of the series, an over-the-shoulder catch off a long drive to deep center field by Vic Wertz.
