Glenn and Gina Robinson are a husband and wife team whose handcrafted furniture and wooden gift accessories reflect the time and talent that goes into their creations. Established in 1990, after a noon hour discussion lamenting the fact of being Muskoka cottagers and finding it more and more difficult to return to the city on Sundays. A week later Glenn and Gina left their jobs, took a 6 month trip through the southern U.S.A., then moved to their cottage on Brandy Lake. Glenn was a graphic artist with woodworking as his hobby; Gina was a floral designer.

Pine extension table with Comb Back Chairs The process for having furniture made by Glenn is both very personal and interactive for the customer. People come in with an idea of what they want made and Glenn guides them to complete the idea. You may be taken back into the workshop and shown the lumber before starting, and often customers return to see their work in progress. The work is made from Muskoka white pine and native hardwoods. Pine is by far the most popular wood; it is a tree that Ontario was built on. Gina hand finishes all of the work using environmentally friendly products. All furniture is made of solid wood, using tried and true woodworking techniques. | |
