Various educational institutions, foundations and projects in Finland organise Finnish language courses. One can also enroll on courses through an Employment Agency (ty¶voimatoimisto). Training organised for the unemployed is free of charge. Information on Finnish language courses aimed at the unemployed can be found on the website of the Labour Administration (ty¶hallinto). Courses at educational institutions usually begin in August or September and the next term again in January. Make sure you enroll well in advance. The institutions will instruct you on the correct time to leave your application.  The website of the National Board of Education (opetushallitus) contains information on Finnish language teaching in comprehensive schools aimed at pupils who have an immigration background.

Does anyone agree? Discussion topics could be why Finnish and Hungarian are related languages but isolated from pretty much anything else, how to correctly use is/are or ask grammar questions in other languages such as Russian, Spanish, French and so on. admin It struck me today as I am getting rid of the last remnants of my paralyzing fever that even though this forum is an International forum we do lack a language section.

Uh yeah i do , or wouldnt of made this dipstick. The UG Squirrel 12-12-2006, 12:33 AM Depending on how old you are, there are exchange programs around if you want to learn via that method and not live there.
There are varying lengths of exchange ranging from a couple of weeks to a couple of months or maybe an entire semester or year.
If you can't find a tutor around, you should probably do that, but you'd have to really want to do it otherwise you'd be wasting your time and money.
