Jay-Chou.net Entertainment SST Headquarters PDA View Full Version : [French Lessons] Bonjour! Learn French~ HarmonyCloud 05-15-2007, 04:25 AM I thought I would start this thread.
I have been studying French for 8 years and I am pretty much fluent. Little lessons to teach things all beginners should know
French is a romance language. Other Romance languages include Spanish, Latin, English, and Italian. What that means is pretty much you will run into words or vocabulary that sound similar.
French is quite simple as far as vocabulary is concerned. However the grammar is rather complicated because there are some verb tenses that aren't used as often in English as they are in french
So for the first thing I think would be great to teach is write out some vocabulary, pronouns, and the conjucation of the first verb!
If anyone wants to post stuff feel free. I will just pop in and out and write out some grammar instructions and write out some vocabulary, especially if I am about to get a test or teach it I will just post it up here to share as well.

print Q:Is it essential to have a good command of French to do well in “n+i” programs?
"n+i" offers more than 7 months of cultural and language course before you join French students. This gives you time to improve your level, even if it is low. However, we recommend that you start studying French seriously before you leave, because it is a good way of proving that you are motivated. we give preference to students with higher levels of French proficiency. The better your French, the better your chances of obtaining scholarships and other forms of financial aid. Q:What are the tests of French as a second language? Where can I take them?

- All candidates receive a certificate of results that positions them at one of the six levels (from A1 to C2) of the competency scale defined by the Council of Europe (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). Since December 2002, the TCF has been certified according to the ISO 9001: 2000 quality standard. More info on TCF
