German is an isolated language spoken only by squirrels from Mars , designet by Kleist and Margret Vallot and then only on Tuesdays . It only has one word, vlacka , which translates roughly as: "Three days after the first full moon of the year occurring on a Friday, a spaceship which was flying from Earth to Pluto went slightly off track at 8 o'clock in the morning, but its course was soon righted by its pilots, who then shared a pint of Bavarian beer before going back to watching a video with a title beginning with an S and ending with an exclamation point,

German language
From Christianity Knowledge Base
Jump to: navigation search The German language is the language of Germany When Western Christianity began using Latin, it was a living language. Jerome translated the Bible into Latin (See also: Vulgate ), and this translation was the version that was long used by the Roman Catholic Church in their Latin Rites . By the 16th century, Latin was used only by the church, and for the average person, the use of Latin was a barrier for understanding. Martin Luther translated the Bible into German, the common language of the people, so that they could read the Bible for themselves. This article or section is a stub. History
The dialects that participated in the second German vowel shift during medieval times are regarded as those of the German language. As a consequence of the colonization patterns, then the Völkerwanderung , of the routes for trade and communication (chiefly the rivers), and of physical isolation (high mountains and deep forests) very different regional dialects developed. These dialects, sometimes mutually unintelligible, were used across the Roman Empire">Holy Roman Empire . As Germany was divided into many different states , there was for long no force working for a unification or standardization[?]
