The objective of a computer engineer is to design and build systems to meet application requirements with attention to the hardware and software interaction. Computer engineers are involved in the installation, repair and servicing of computers and associated equipment. They may sometimes be described as Information Technology, hardware technicians, service engineers or computer systems engineers.
