    1.1 Geography and administrative units
    Lebanon, 10452 km2, stretches in about 60 km broad along the Mediterranean Sea for around 200 km extent. It lies between latitudes 33°03'-34°45' and longitudes 35°05'-36°30'. It is bordered from west by the Mediterranean Sea, from north and east with Syria and borders Palestine from south.
    Administrative divisions
