Wikipedia:Auto-categorization/New Jersey From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Wikipedia:Auto-categorization Jump to: navigation search edit Articles on this list need to be categorized. Each is shown with the first 500 characters or so of their content, to make your job easier. Scroll down to the bottom of this page to see a list of related categories that existed when this list was being created. Please delete articles from this list after you categorize them, to avoid duplication of effort. Articles that have the state's name in the title that are not on this list are probably going to be automatically categorized. See the parent page (link at the top of this page) for more information. Please add municipalities (towns, cities, townships, boroughs, villages, unincorporated communities, etc.) that are direct subdivisions of a county (equivalent to boroughs and census areas in Alaska and parishes in Louisiana) in both the county's category ([[Category:X County, State Y]]) and [[Category:Towns (or Cities, etc.) in State Y]]. Please add county articles to the county category and to [[Category:State Y counties]]. Note that categories for all counties might not yet exist, but they will soon be automatically populated with most of the municipalities that belong there. There is no convention for county sub-sub-divisions. (For example, villages that are part of towns, and towns that are part of townships.) Certainly sub-sub-divisions should be added to the sub-division category, and probably also a the state-wide [[Category:Villages in State Y]]. It's unclear whether or not to add them to the county category. See | |
