Well, i have been fighting it but I gave in, and now I have cut all my hair off...I went to get the damage fixed, but all my long hair is gone.:pbmumbles: LostFaery 05-15-2006, 02:48 PM I've wanted to but haven'tmaybe it's part SI, but it can also be displaced anger. When I imagine it, i imagine shredding my face up and hacking my hair off. My fantasy is probably SI. Someone else might feel like chopping thier hair off like the way we might get angry at an object and throw it awaykids toys is usually a biggie, like "I can't take this anymore" meaning that you are sick and tired of your hair. I don't know, that's my guess. DyingToLive 05-15-2006, 05:01 PM i would say probably not SI, but a better resolve-i agree misplaced anger, but still better placed than actually hurting yourself. if i recall correctly, Luna did this, chopping off all her hair, and she had a really cute style out of it-i say you post some pics of your new style 05-15-2006, 05:08 PM

I need to keep my books in store bought condition, this means they have to be mark free, crease free (even on the spine), no acidic residue on the sides of the pages... If I lend my books to someone and they crease the cover or get their acidic finger residue (DNA) on the pages, depending on the book I might make them get me a new one o.O

I ask because if somebody has supposed friends encouraging them to likewise commit a crime, do they get away with murder and if so should either? (Personally I don't see that in either case simple restraint and a sense of decency i.e., awareness of the end results of your actions, should stop you committing the crimes: As with all lawbreaking I believe it's a case of you biting your tongue and buckling down to work, if you want something enough, or giving up and collapsing into the despair and apathy that is crime (insanity) in the first place: Two people can come from the slums but one will work his way up in society and the other will give up and seek the easy option of stealing from others (self blame if you don't meet your objectives or blaming others). exactly The point is, what would we do about that? hmm Well I expect we would handle it really poorly. i suppose talk to the person and see what they have to say Someone would block them for being a rogue admin. even if it's speciously reasoned to a degree way higher than the rock that Lisa Simpson sold to her father if they know they have a problem, they might be reasonable about it But I'm asking what we SHOULD do it's an interesting point I'd argue that WP is a great place to have OCD, if that makes sense It has rules and policies and guides up the wazoo hehe Ok so they are a bit too abusive with their powers asin: I have the POWER and my POWER speaks, break my power and i pwn you kind of obsession? rules may be a bad thing, julian, beause then there's more that YOU MUST DO yeah, that is an issue power speaks? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obsessive-compulsive_disorder wth... how many of the people in here are admins, out of interest? or - have elevated powers on WP, i mean http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obsessive-compulsive_disorder Shouldn't that be OCD / Obessive_compulsive_disorder ? Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder; more specifically, it is an anxiety disorder. See also: OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but it is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive, distressing, intrusive thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions. It is important to distinguish OCD from other types of anxiety, including the routine tension and stress that appear throughout life. A person who shows signs of infatuation or fixation with a subject/object, or displays traits such as perfectionism, does not necessarily have OCD, a specific and well-defined condition..
