It is designed for coaches, athletic administrators, superintendents, principals, youth sports organizers, EEO officers and others. The conference opens with a workshop on the potential legal liabilities for coaches and administrators when dealing with evaluation of medical exams, conditioning and related issues. A second workshop will identify the risks inherent in the operation of sports facilities and procedures that can limit legal liabilities. Other topics to be examined include nutrition, eating disorders, sexual harassment, employment issues, hate crimes, and development of a gender equity plan.
