Therefore, your students will be housed with other students working at GSFC during the summer. You may choose to provide funds for your student’s housing or request that the student be made responsible for their own housing payments. Housing students outside of the summer term is a difficult task and GEST will only be able to provide limited help in searching housing possibilities for students. If you are interested in having a student during the regular summer programs timeframe, please give at least 45 days advance notice in order to have space set aside. Students housed at College Park during the summer can access a M-F shuttle between campus and GSFC. This summer morning pick up is at 7:20am on campus and dropped off at a few locations on both sides of GSFC. Afternoon pick-up at GSFC begins at 4:30pm to return to campus. GEST does not recommend renting a vehicle for a student under the age of 21 for reasons of liability.

Students are provided with various opportunities according their knowledge and motivation. Our internship program is flexible and designed to match the skills and characteristics of students.
It is possible to choose from three types of internship ¢â‚¬â€œ ¢â‚¬Ëœclerk¢â‚¬â„¢, ¢â‚¬Ëœassistant¢â‚¬â„¢ and ¢â‚¬Ëœvirtual¢â‚¬â„¢. Clerks are viewed as future specialists
If you are creative, seek personal development and have an interest in IT and business processes, then this is the course for you! During their internship, clerks work in a specific department and are assigned defined tasks to be carried out under the supervision and support of an Alna specialist. Assistants are students on internships that work one-on-one with an Alna specialist and function very much as that specialist¢â‚¬â„¢s right hand person. If you are a responsible, hard-working and active student, who can show initiative, then the position of assistant awaits you! Tasks are set, supervised and supported by that specialist, operating in the role of a manager. This approach enables the student to learn from the inside all the practical knowledge and encourages the successful implementation and development of skills.
