O ur best wishes to you in your journey. Recovery is difficult, but at least we now know that we are not to blame and we are not alone. THE WELCOME: An Introduction to Survivors of Incest Anonymous
We welcome you to Survivors of Incest Anonymous and hope you will find here the hope, camaraderie and recovery that we have been privileged to experience.
We are a self-help group of women and men, 18 years or older, who are guided by a set of 12 Suggested Steps and 12 Traditions, along with some slogans and the Serenity Prayer. There are no dues or fees. Everything that is said here, in the group meeting or member to member, must be held in strict confidence. We do not have any professional therapist working in our group. SIA is not a replacement for therapy or any other professional service when needed. The only requirement for membership is that you are a victim of child sexual abuse, and you are not abusing any child. We define incest very broadly as a sexual experience by a family member or by an extended family member that damaged the child. "Extended family" may include an aunt, uncle, in-law, step-parent, cousin, friend of the family, teacher, coach, another child, clergy or anyone that you were led to trust. We believe we were affected by the abuse whether it occurred once or many times since the damage is incurred immediately.

Clutterers Anonymous (CLA) is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem with clutter and help each other to recover. We achieve this as individuals, groups, and a fellowship by practicing our 12 Steps of recovery and by being guided by our 12 Traditions. Each of them embodies a set of principles for living life effectively, inside and outside CLA. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop cluttering. There are no dues or fees for membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions, neither soliciting nor accepting outside donations. Our fellowship is based on suggestion, interchange of experience, rotation of leadership, and service.

Eating Disorders Anonymous (EDA) is a fellowship of individuals who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problems and help others to recover from their eating disorders. People can and do fully recover from having an eating disorder. In EDA, we help one another identify and claim milestones of recovery. The only requirement for membership is a desire to recover from an eating disorder. There are no dues or fees for EDA membership. We are self-supporting through our own contributions. EDA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution. EDA does not wish to engage in any controversy. We neither endorse nor oppose any causes. Our primary purpose is to recover from our eating disorders and to carry this message of recovery to others with eating disorders. In EDA, we try to focus on the solution, not the problem. Solutions have to do with recognizing life choices and making them responsibly. Diets and weight management techniques do not solve our thinking problems. EDA endorses sound nutrition and discourages any form of rigidity around food.
** Balance – not abstinence is our goal. **

When drug addiction enters a family via one of its members, the effect can be devastating. If you have reason to believe or even a vague suspicion that someone close to you may have a drug problem, we know how you feel. We know what it is like to be alone with this problem. We remember the feelings of panic and frustration that resulted from this discovery. We in Families Anonymous have experienced this too.
We use first names only, as this is an anonymous programme. No dues or fees are required. The weekly meetings are regularly held throughout the year. Newcomers are welcome without prior arrangements. You will not be urged to participate in the group discussions, but may join in and ask questions if you wish. We do understand how you feel. There could be a meeting near you.

WELCOME TO CIVANON!
It is important that you take control of your life and wrest the upper hand from your addiction once and for all. CivAnon (Civilization Anonymous) is a support community in the mold of traditional 12-step programs that can help you find your higher power in order to break the chains of your addiction-for good.
WHAT MEMBERS ARE SAYING ABOUT CIVANON:
I've been attending CivAnon meetings for approximately 18 months now. Partly because I began to get a perverse thrill out of wiping out entire civilizations with atomic intercontinental ballistic weaponry, and partly because they serve cake at the meetings. I like to kill, that's true. But I like cake even more.

California Ferret Supporters Working for an EIR
A fter many failed attempts at ferret legalization which included consideration of a ballot initiative and an appeal to Governor Schwarzenegger's sense of fairness - our goal appears to be set for an EIR. An EIR is an Environmental Impact Report. It is one step beyond the CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act) that previous legislative attempts called for. We were told by multiple environmental consultants that anything controversial will automatically need the more throrough EIR. Governor Schwarzenegger also called for an EIR when he vetoed our ferret amnesty bill in 2004. Previously we have been scared away from doing enviromental studies because of the cost and the fact that DFG doesn't seem all that interested in the facts.
