It originally started with the concept of 'Vision/Oblivion' as related to the issue of Iraqi Shia/Sunni differences and its political consequences. We're that much wiser now that the war is over so there will be less speculation (good :) ), but less soaring (Ah-h-h :( ).

We have to agree on a premise to start before any knots can be untangled. When I read that thread again, I more or less stated that the rift nowadays is a matter of politics, not religion. You were not so definite:
