A More Distinctive University
Dear Friends,
Our world is changing faster than ever before. Twenty years from now, the best colleges and universities will be those that have a plan today to adapt to the changing needs of the 21st century. At Ball State, we have a plan not only to sustain our relevance in a changing world but to become a more distinctive university.
We will dramatically expand immersive learning opportunities —the truly unique learning experiences at Ball State that, until recently, benefited a relatively small portion of students. These opportunities allow students to transform traditional classroom information into knowledge, judgment, and—ultimately—into action. They will become ubiquitous on campus. Students will learn to develop real-world solutions to real-world problems.
And what better problems to solve than those faced by our local businesses and communities across Indiana? We will expand immersive learning experiences for students to work side-by-side with local business and community leaders across the state. Students have transformative experiences when they synergize classroom information with real-life application.
