Wyatt's Fate, Parts 1 -5 [A-/B+] Where posted: ASS, ASSTG (alt.sex.transgender) When posted: 4/25/99 Author: JRD Address: jrdss@micronet.net I'm always amused when the author of a story sequel warns us, as this one does, that "you really do need to have read that before this." How much character or plot development can occur when all the characters are fucking like rabbits? As in the story above, how much you like this depends on how fond you are of these tales. Though competently and briskly written, I found the characters cardboard and the drama limp; for me, TG needs a good plot to make it interesting (like Ruthless's "Jemilsil" or Waldo's Flash Gordon spoof) or real insight (as Vickie Tern's "Charmed.") This story had neither, dwelling instead on the transformation process and sex between she- males, and the psychological changes that occurred in the protagonist were only perfunctory. The lack of depth made the story only average. But if you want a competent TG tale you could do worse than this. | |
