I think the first thing I want to solve is how to get either the OLE DB Provider for Oracle or the Microsoft ODBC Driver for Oracle provider installed on the 64bit win2003 box. I've tried installing MDAC 2.8 (2.8sp1 won't install on this OS - not sure if it's because it is 64bit OS or WIN2K3) but it isn't showing up either in ODBC administrator or in SQL Server under the providers. The installation says it installs fine but I don't see any reference to them anywhere. I have rebooted...twice.
