ABOUT HABES Fuzzy-Logic The concept of 'fuzzy logic' was already introduced in 1965 as an extension of Boolean logic. Within fuzzy logic, the extent to which and element is considered to fulfil a certain criterion is not restricted to 'true' or 'false', but can be characterised by a value between zero (zero percent = completely 'false') and one (one hundred percent = completely 'true'). This can be addressed with, for example, qualitative classes as 'low', 'middle' or 'high'.
