Rosalyn Yalow - Quotations (source) (19 July 1921 - ) American medical physicist who shared (with Andrew V. Schally and Roger Guillemin) the 1977 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine. The award, making her the second woman to win the Nobel Prize in medicine, was made "for the development of radioimmuno assays (RIA) of peptide hormone."
