Yukawa Hideki January 23 September 8 ) was a Japanese theoretical physicist and the first Japanese who won the Nobel prize. He was born in Tokyo , on January 23 . In , he became a lecturer at Kyoto Imperial University in his 22 after graduated from there. Since graduation, he had been doing research about theoretical physics , particularly in the theory of elementary particle . In , he got married with Sumiko and had two sons, Harumi and Takaaki. In he became a professor and an assistant professor at Osaka University in his 26. In he published Theory of Meson, which explained the relationship between protons and neutrons and largely influenced the research of elementary particles. Yukawa besch¤ftigte sich mit dem Aufbau des Atomkerns und den Kern wechselwirkungen . Eine seiner bahnbrechenden Leistungen war die Entwicklung einer neuen Theorie der Kernkr¤fte und die damit verbundene Vorhersage des Mesons Yukawa wurde am 23. Januar 1907 in Tokyo geboren. Nach Abschluss der Schulausbildung studierte er Physik an den Universit¤ten von Kyoto und Osaka. Nach der Promotion 1929 ¼bernahm er eine Dozentenstelle an der Universit¤t Kyoto. Von 1933 bis 1936 lehrte Yukawa Physik an der Universit¤t Osaka. 1939 erhielt er den Ruf der Universit¤t Kyoto. 1948 folgte er einer Einladung und ging als Gastprofessor an das Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton (New Jersey). Dann wechselte er an die Columbia University in New York. Dort blieb er von 1949 bis 1953. 1953 kehrte Yukawa nach Japan zur¼ck und wurde zum Direktor des Instituts f¼r physikalische Grundlagenforschung an der Universit¤t Kyoto ernannt – diesen Posten behielt er bis 1970. Der Physiker starb am 8. September 1981 in Kyoto.
