@Profile @Dr. Nagashima got his doctoral degree from the Center for Climate System Research at the University of Tokyo, through a study that used a chemistry-climate model of the stratosphere. From April 2001, he started his professional career as a NIES post-doctoral fellow in the Atmospheric Environment Division at NIES and became a full researcher in May 2004. He has conducted model studies related to stratospheric ozone and about the climate change involved with global warming. He joined the Regional Atmospheric Modeling Section of the Asian Environment Research Group in April 2006.
