I am not understanding how do I perform the arithematic operations maintaining the operators precedence.
    Here's the problem :
some sort of like this. parksie Jul 6th, 2002, 08:01 AM Look up (on google) converting between postfix and infix expressions.
Although most of the time I'd just get the user to do that and make them put it in in the form:
(that *should* produce the right output, I can't test it since I've still got to recover the code for my stack evaluator).
Basically, you have everything on a stack, so you push 34 and 45 on, then use the * operator to replace those with (34*45). And so on. It's a lot easier for the computer to process because there's no way for it to be ambiguous. myname Jul 8th, 2002, 03:58 AM Is there any other way apart from using stacks for it ? kedaman Jul 8th, 2002, 05:05 AM

Percentage Arithematic and Ass are reports....
Overheard an interesting telephone conversation :
Other guy : (Can't hear what he is saying, he is on the other end of the line)
This guy : Yes, I've tested all the reports, settlement report is not working...
Other guy : (seems to ask something about percentage of reports not working or something)
This guy : 50% of reports are failing, 50% of reports are timing out and 50% of reports are working
Other guy : (seems to comment on the weird percentage logic)
This guy : Yes its 50-50, 50% are working and 50% are failing.....
Other guy : (seems to ask for the overall estimate)
This guy : In total its 70% working and 30% failing...
Other guy : (no idea what he says)
This guy : No, all my estimates are approximates...yes approximates...... Other guy : (again no idea what he says) This guy : In total all reports sometimes working sometimes failing.... Other guy : (no idea what he says) This guy : Ass are reports timeout expired....... I finally realized that "Ass are" reports are "SR" reports.....but the percentage arithematic is still beyond me..... Posted by M at 11:25 AM
