Dear MendMeShop.com, Thank you you for your great customer service. Your product is excellent and your quick response to my requests is outstanding. I hope other people take advantage of your ultrasound since it compliments physical therapy and gives quicker results. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Kathryn Hallock, OH Welcome to UltrasoundCure.com - The home of MendMeShop Naturally Medicated Therapeutic Gel . Read on and you will learn how this special product is changing the lives of people just like Kathryn every day. Until now people suffering from stress and strain physical injuries as well as ailments with painful inflammation could do very little to help themselves. The options have been drugs with horrible side effects, surgery with no guaranteed outcome, or to simply sit and suffer in pain. Visits to Doctors, Physical Therapists and Chiropractors could provide welcome relief but their limited availability and high cost put limits on how much treatment one could receive.

Duplex Ultrasound
What is duplex ultrasound? Duplex ultrasound combines Doppler flow information and conventional imaging information, sometimes called B-mode, to allow physicians to see the structure of your blood vessels. Duplex ultrasound shows how blood is flowing through your vessels and measures the speed of the flow of blood. It can also be useful to estimate the diameter of a blood vessel as well as the amount of obstruction, if any, in the blood vessel. Conventional ultrasound uses painless sound waves higher than the human ear can detect that bounce off of blood vessels. A computer converts the sound waves into two-dimensional, black and white moving pictures called B-mode images. Doppler ultrasound measures how sound waves reflect off of moving objects. A wand bounces short bursts of sound waves off of red blood cells and sends the information to a computer. Doppler ultrasound produces two-dimensional color images that show if blood flow is affected by problems in the blood vessels, such as cholesterol deposits. When performing duplex ultrasound, your physician uses the two forms of ultrasound together. The conventional ultrasound shows the structure of your blood vessels and the Doppler ultrasound shows the movement of your red blood cells through the vessels. Duplex ultrasound produces images that can be color coded to show physicians where your blood flow is severely blocked as well as the speed and direction of blood flow.

What are ultrasound scans?
Ultrasound scans are images of the internal organs created from sound waves. The images are produced when the sound waves are directed into the body then reflected back to a scanner that measures them.
What are ultrasound scans used for?
Ultrasound scanning is used to help monitor and diagnose conditions in many parts of the body, including the kidneys, the liver and the heart.
It is often used to examine conditions affecting the organs in a woman's pelvis - the uterus, Fallopian tubes and ovaries. Ultrasound scanning is not dangerous and has no side effects, so it is safe to use during pregnancy.

45. Ultrasound Technician, Find Ultrasound Tech Schools
How to become a qualified ultrasound technician or technologist training through ultrasound tech schools to operate ultrasound machine and equipment.
http://www.learnultrasound.com/
Ultrasound Technician Schools
An ultrasound technician works with ultrasound equipment. They are used to look at organs and internal areas of the body that can not be seen by x-rays. These machines are commonly used for pregnant women to see the unborn child. Ultrasound schools teach the student how to use such machine and other equipment, along with teaching how to interact with patients and keep the equipment in good working order. When looking around at different ultrasound school a person needs to first understand the type of ultrasound courses they needs so they choose an institution that will enable them to learn everything they need. Ultrasound tech have to be able to use the equipment properly. They need to complete understand how the equipment works and how to troubleshoot problems with the ultrasound machine. They also need to be able to explain to patients what they are doing and answer any questions a person may have. They also need to understand how to treat each patient in a caring manner. In addition ultra sound technician must be able to analyze the pictures and determine what, if anything is wrong. They have to be able to communicate their findings to the doctor in a clear and complete way. In general ultrasound jobs are available throughout the medical community. Some ultrasound technician are employed with hospitals, while others work for health care facilities where they travel to people’s homes to perform their tasks. They are required to work in a variety of different situations. They have to work with a variety of people as well. Part of being a sonographer is being flexible and being able to work in an ever changing environment. No matter where a person works the ultrasound diagnostic school should have taught them how to handle every situation and be able to do a competent job.

On the "safety" amd "usefulness" of prenatal ultrasound
Ultrasound may change baby's cell growth
June 9, 1999 (from CNN.com) Web posted at: 3:10 PM EDT (1910 GMT) LONDON (Reuters) Ultrasound scans, routinely used to look at internal organs and to monitor the growth of a developing fetus, can stop cells from dividing normally, Irish scientists said Wednesday. Researchers at University College in Dublin told New Scientist magazine it is too early to tell if the changes they found in the cells of mice are harmless or what the implications of the findings could be for humans. "It has been assumed for a long time that ultrasound has no effect on cells," said Patrick Brennan, who led the research team. "We now have grounds to question that assumption." During the study, the rate of cell division in mice that were given an 8 megahertz scan lasting 15 minutes was 22 percent lower than normal, and the rate of cell death doubled. Routine hospital scans use frequencies between 3 and 10 megahertz and can last up to 60 minutes. Brennan said the sound waves of the scans could be damaging the DNA in cells, which could delay cell division and repair, or it might be switching on p53, a tumor suppressor gene that controls cell death.
