Parents should set limits on where children may ride, depending on their age and maturity. Most serious injuries occur when the bicyclist is hit by a motor vehicle. a. Young children should ride only with adult supervision and off the street.

Pumpkin
Patch Pedal
Sunday Sept 21, 2008
Best end-of-season ride. Not to be missed.
Pictures from 2007
Thanks for another great Pumpkin Patch bike ride!! It was perfect, right down to the weather. We liked the cue sheets this year that folded crosswise into neat sections instead of just a long list of directions that you had to keep folding and turning. It seemed like a lot more people stayed to listen to the music and eat lunch too. Your volunteers are always so pleasant and cheerful. We're looking forward to next year's Pumpkin Patch!

Great ride and the BEST rest stops I've ever seen (I'm a Central Jersey Bike member).

Do you have other organized bike trips this year?
We loved your Pumpkin Patch Ride....AWESOME.? Thanks so much for organizing this!!! ... Jolie Yesterday i rode the Century ride at the Pumpkin Patch Pedal and just thought i would extend my thanks to all who were involved before, during, and after this great ride. The weather was perfect, the roads were well marked (loved the huge bicycles and pumpkin pics), and the volunteers were friendly and helpful - especially the ones at the pie rest stop. Thanks for a wonderful day!!! See you next year

Bicycle Boulevards in Berkeley
If you bike, walk, drive or blade around Berkeley, you have probably noticed the bicycle boulevard signs and pavement legends Identifying the streets with these signs and legends is just the first phase of creating a network of bicycle boulevards
What is a Bicycle Boulevard?
Bicycle boulevards are low-traffic neighborhood streets that have been optimized for bicycling. They provide direct, attractive routes for bikes. Berkeley has taken the general concept of a bicycle boulevard and tailored it to fit its street network.
