IRWIN AND BROWN WON THE BATTLE BUT TORBERT AND RUNDLE WIN THE WAR Alex Torbert and Keith Rundle’s undefeated streak came to an end at the fourth and final ABA Cup race of the season when Europa Cup Pilot Trevor Irwin - who teamed up with Olympic silver medalist Lascelles Brown - blazed across the finish line to take the victory. Irwin and Brown had the fastest speeds and the fastest down times of both heats to finish in a time of 1:53.15. In second place were Torbert and Rundle, who finished with a combined time of 1:54.48, more then a second behind the leaders. Rounding out the top three were ABA Assistant Coach Dallas Butcher and brakeman Rob Gray who posted a combined time of 1:54.76 Although Torbert and Rundle were not victorious in the final race of the series they did claim both the overall ABA Cup Pilot and Brakeman Titles with a total of 390 points. The second and third ranked pilots were Dallas Butcher and Richard Christensen who had 340 and 300 points respectively. In the brakeman category Justin Wilkinson finished in second place 260 points, while rooky brakeman Brandon skinner came in third with 225 points.

It's not known how much the original track evolved in the early years as the three sports matured and stabilized. The first club was formed in 1897, and the first purpose-built track solely for bobsleds was opened in 1902 outside of St Moritz. The F©d©ration Internationale de Bobsleigh et de Tobogganing (FIBT) was founded in 1923. Men's four-crew bobsleigh appeared in the first ever Winter Olympic Games in 1924, and men's two-crew bobsleigh (two man bobsled) event was added in 1932. Bobsleigh was not included in the 1960 Winter Olympics, but has been in every Winter Olympics since. Women's bobsleigh started in competition in the early 1990s, and women's two-crew bobsleigh made its Olympic debut at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Bobsleigh is also contested at American, European, and World Cup championships. Over the years, bobsleigh tracks evolved from straight runs to twisting and turning. Full Review Plot Details: This opinion reveals minor details about the movie's plot. The humour is derived from many sources; slapstick, dialogue, character-based, cultural, commentary by the Jamaicans at home listening on the official Olympic commentary (this is really Serious subjects (such as cheating, prejudice, parental interference) are dealt with here with surprising skill. The film is too short for much in the way of subtlety, but the film gets good messages across without becoming patronising. Cinematography is also excellent, with real-life footage from the Olympics expertly interwoven with the film. The stunts and crazy scenes (chase the bobsleigh down the mountain)are well done, and when the film gets a bit more serious, lighting and mood are handled with great skill.
