Adult Learn To Row Online Registration Opens Tomorrow- April 1
Sign up to begin a new summer sport. Rowing combines strength (upper body and yes, legs, too!), endurance, and balance in a challenging aerobic workout. Choose one of six sessions of classes. Each session includes eight classes held over a three or four week period, weekday evenings, and sometimes weekend mornings. This year we are offering a new session during midday on Tuesday and Thursday from 11am until 1pm. All sessions finish with a fun 'Crab 'n Sky' regatta. Use this calendar when selecting your Learn To Row Session. Cost is $175 plus a registration fee of about $12. After completing a Learn to Row session, students are invited to join the Minneapolis Rowing Club and row for the remainder of the summer with the Novice Program at a reduced membership rate of $200. Classes typically fill very quickly. Save your seat. Register now.

About Rowing
Rowing (called crew) is a sport of fitness and finesse that involves balance, strength and teamwork. Rowing appeals to those inclined to roll themselves out of bed in the early morning hours, sit in absurdly skinny boats precariously balanced on the water and watch the ever-changing spectacle of the sunrise (all before coffee time!). Boulder Community Rowing (BCR) is a nonprofit corporation with approximately 65 members founded in 2000. The club offers rowing opportunities for novice, experienced and competitive rowers. Most workouts take place in sweep boats holding eight or four people. Those interested in a more solitary environment can learn to use our single and double sculls (See our Sculling Programs ). Boats and programs launch from our dock at the Boulder Reservoir. Programs cater to those wanting to sample the experience (see our Learn-To-Row Weekends ) or simply continue their enjoyment of rowing (see our Novice Program and Experienced Program ). BCR also provides opportunities to compete in local and national races/regattas (see our
