Another UEFA tournament equals another UEFA game of course! While that may seem like the extent of our math skills we can say for sure that Electronic Arts have released 8 screens of the stadiums being used in UEFA Soccer 2008 . So far it looks as if EA has successfully recreated the stadiums from the Austria and Switzerland hosted event. All we can say is, GOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Sorry, we had to.

Brazil 2014 - at least the T-shirts are ready
March 30th, 2007, filed by Brian Homewood Brazil, clear favourites to host the 2014 World Cup, have finally started work on getting ready for the big event. T-shirt friendly against Ghana in Stockholm, the team wore them as they took to the field and CBF chief Ricardo Teixeira has been handing them around to all and sundry. It will need a lot more serious work if the World Cup really is going to come here. The CBF openly admits the country does not have a single stadium which can at present host World Cup games. More worryingly, how are the fans going to get around? The country has almost no passenger-carrying railways, most highways are in a shambolic state and air travel, fraught with delays due to outdated equipment and overworked controllers, cannot cope with local demand. threat to go north. Tour Football Facilities Carolina football plays its home games at Kenan Memorial Stadium (cap. 60,000), one of the most picturesque athletic venues in America. Kenan Stadium has been the home of the Tar Heels since 1927 and the thrill of playing in or attending a game there is as exhilarating now as it was when it was first constructed.
Considering its majestic setting among the Carolina pines, many observers say Kenan Stadium is the most beautiful football facility in the country.
The stadium's beauty, charm and simple elegance have not been diminished with the expansion project that added nearly 8,000 seats, a state-of-the-art football facility, chancellor's box and preferred seating box. The renovation and expansion project was financed through a combination of private contributions through the Educational Foundation and bonded indebtedness from the athletic department through the sale of revenue-generating bonds. The Educational Foundation and its members have committed more than $50 million to the project. The most recent addition to Kenan Stadium is a $2 million scoreboard at the east end of the stadium that was financed through an agreement with Learfield Communications, UNC's multi-media rights holder. The $2- million-figure includes the cost of the video board, installation and a new public address system. Over 40 new speakers have been added throughout Kenan Stadium.
