From April 2001, he started his professional career as a NIES post-doctoral fellow in the Atmospheric Environment Division at NIES and became a full researcher in May 2004. He has conducted model studies related to stratospheric ozone and about the climate change involved with global warming. He joined the Regional Atmospheric Modeling Section of the Asian Environment Research Group in April 2006.
