The distinguished pianist, who received the Order of Canada last year, performs his first Edmonton solo recital tonight at the Winspear, though he's played with the symphony several times. The occasion is close to Kimura Parker's heart - a benefit to launch the Marek Jablonski Prize for Chopin.
