As usual, THC relied on the offensive prowess of Finnish import Iikka Jokinen and the clutch goaltending of Sam Garrison in earning the win. Leading 2-1 after two periods, the Melts got two quick goals early in the third by Benedig and Tony Phung to go up 4-1 and appeared set to cruise to victory. However, the Colbeagles roared back with three goals in a 4:08 span to tie the game at 4-4 to create some drama as the game wound down. Extractions: skip to main skip to sidebar Indeed, it was the best chance for UniHawks to win a game in the league given the opposing team just starting with one line and them more than two. However, all did not look too well for them as Innebandy opened the scoring with a goal courtesy of a central defensive mistake. UniHawks pressed on for an equalizer and they got it from #27 Sukri. Game on. Innebandy had known before the game that only a win is good enough to keep pace with league leader Contact and it is predicted that they would apply full pressure during the 1st half which they did and it got them another goal to bring into the second. The UniHawks came out firing on all cylinders but to the wrong sides as they continued to display the lack of finishing which has worked so well against them all season, with Innebandy being content on lying low defensively and letting the Hawks flew all over them. A quick counter by an Innebandy forward resulted in a goal and some Contacts did not look too pleased.

Extractions: First period began with a shocked as nobody would ever expect such an early goal from the Fireants. Goals by goals we conceded due to defensive error. Despite being stung by the ants inne never gave up. A one-two passes by Sam and Deswyn made to the net of the opponent. Bringing back to kl his 3rd goal for the season . Inne would like to thank him for taking his time for playing for us. It is such an honour to have you in every match you played with us. Appreciate you for korekin your piggy bank for the trip back here. The first period ended 1-4. We needed a breakthrough! Nic without giving himself some rest started to encourage the team and make some changes in our strategy. The second period was much better compared to the first one. Inne had more possession of the ball throughout the whole period. But due to the lack of movements from the players we failed to fully seize the opportunity. If only more shots were taken the score would be different...." if only". However the least expected moment happened again. This time is our turn!

Extractions: When we did finally meet up with Wilson, all visions of a Hulkish man with a mean grin quickly vanished as we were greeted by an unassuming young man whose only Hulkish character was his big heart for Floorball. We found out that Wilson is the designated coach for team Ztec 8cer and he spoke passionately about the game and also his future plans for his team as well. After training, we brought Wilson for our customary post-training dinner/supper and Wilson soon found out that our appetite for food is as ravishing as our appetite for Floorball! I guess we are as Hulkish as Wilson as well!! :) The tournament ended with a bang with a matchup between NFC (Nomad Floorball Club) and Reloaded. In the end, the champs were NFC yet it was soo close and adrenalinely exhilarating. First runner-up is Reloaded followed by second-runner up Eklektos. 6 teams participated which were divided into 2 groups; Group 1 (Rainfield, Eklektos and D'Gap) and Group 2 (NFC, Reloaded and Power Oranges). Overall it was an excellent game between the 6 teams and the crowd were kept glued to their seats. Such speed and grace till you lost track of the teams. Anyhow congratulations to all teams for making this tournament a success. They'll be more action to come...sooon. As for now enjoy some snippets from the event.
