Under natural conditions with no water release, our 1.5-mile trip can take up to one hour; after water is released it may take only 20 minutes. Under natural conditions with no water release, our 6-mile trip can take up to 6 hours; after water is released, it may take only 2 hours. Water release is controlled by TVA and subject to change without notice. TVA does not make the water release times available to us ahead of time so we are unable to be more specific regarding how long it will take you to get down the river. We suggest you get to the river, see how the river is running and then decide if you want the short trip or the long trip.
